Tim and Brenda Nyx, founders of Celestial Pepper Salt Giants Schnauzers, have 31 years of experience with the Breed. We purchased our first Giant Schnauzer in 1991and we've loved and studied the breed ever since. We are mentors of the breed with the Giant Schnauzer Club of America, helping others reach their goals with the breed. We are responsible, ethical breeder's who've produced healthy, sound P/S Giant Schnauzers. Just 4 litters in 31 years. We strive to support and nuture positive relationships with those who respect and love the breed. Here are some of our accomplishments:
Two terms as Vice-President of the Giant Schnauzer Club of America (Brenda) Co-Author of the GSCA Publication, "The Giant Schnauzer Illustrated Standard, A Blueprint for the Breed" (Brenda) Giant Schnauzer Breed Columnist for the AKC Magazine, "The Gazzette" (Brenda) Writer of the GSCA Magazine "Giant Steps" column, "Pepper Salt World" (Brenda) Participated (with a Pepper Salt Giant) in two Nationally televised commercials for the AKC/Eukanuba Championship Dog Shows Judged Regional Sweepstakes for the Standard Schnauzer Club of Southern California (Brenda) Judged Western Regional Sweepstakes for the GSCA (Brenda) Organized/Designed the Giant Schnauzer Booth at the 2003 AKC/Eukanuba Meet the Breeds, Awarded 1st in Working Group
Shown and handled over 30 Giant Schnauzers to their AKC Championships Speakers and presentors of the Pepper Salt Giant Schnauzer at several AKC Judges Seminars We bred and trained the first P/S Giant Schnauzer awarded Schutzhund/IPO titles in the United States.
Designed and maintained the first official Website for the Giant Schnauzer Club of America (Tim) Designed and maintained the first official Website for the Working Riesenschnauzer Federation (Tim) Served in all WRSF Board of Directors positions (except Treasurer) since 2006, President 2011-2023 (Tim)
Trained the second Pepper Salt Giant Schnauzer in the United States to be awarded an IPO Title (IPO1) Club Level Helper - ANACAPA Working Dog Association (Tim) Club Level Helper - Southern California Schutzhund Club (Tim) Club, Regional and National Level Helper - West Coast K9 Academy (Tim)
